SPRING 2020 AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES

Brooklyn Wild offers the space and time for kids to play as they are, no judgments and no adult agendas. Whether it's digging up worms and climbing trees, making secret hideouts and playing soccer with found objects, or making muffins in the mud kitchen, kids lead their own play. Our mixed age classes run from 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm. Our core age group is 4 to 11, but we have students as young as 3 and as old as 13. We maintain a ratio of one teacher for every five students. Brooklyn Wild classes are not held on school holidays or half days, which is reflected on your invoice.

There is a once-per-school-year, non-refundable registration fee of $80 per student for students new to the program.

A non-refundable 10% deposit is required to hold your spot.

Siblings who register together receive a 5% discount.

Tuition and fees include:

• two hours of outdoor free play with peers, facilitated by trained playworkers

• indoor play at our pop-up playroom during inclement weather

• school pick-up from PS 516, Brooklyn New School, Little Brooklyn Pre-K on 25th Street, K280, Home Sweet Home daycare, local bus stops or drop off at the park at 3:15 pm. 

• peer interactions that will foster your child's ability to problem solve, negotiate and read social cues

• loose parts play that enhances--and builds!--creativity

• use of a class dry bag to keep your child's belongings safe and dry

• use of a class-provided full cover rain suit to keep clothes relatively mud-free

• make-up classes for absences are available when space allows

• exclusive pre-registration access to our 2020-2021 after school classes

Spring classes are not held on 4/9, 4/14, 4/16, 6/4 and 6/9 due to school holidays.
