Tuition covers:
4-hour / half-day class, field trip to Prospect Park, school pick-up, transportation, supplies, highly individualized facilitation with student ratios of 1:5, fair pay for staff, and access to our gear library for rain suits and winter extras

Three class dismissal options:
#1: 4:45 – 5 pm caregiver pick up in Prospect Park
#2: 5:30 – 5:45 pm caregiver pick up in Sunset Park, 428 45th Street
#3: students can self-dismiss with parents' permission, from the park or 45th Street
At Brooklyn Wild, we support children’s autonomy and social skills through play, nature exploration and inquiry.
Our all-outdoor after school classes mix forest school with adventure play, offering the space and time for kids to be as they are, follow their own ideas, no judgments and no adult agendas. Whether it's digging for worms, climbing trees, writing books, identifying birds, following waterways, creating elaborate games or trying on social roles through pretend play--it all happens here. Playworkers and nature educators gently support the group dynamic, following the students' interests and curiosity, building trust and warm relationships, while maintaining safe boundaries.

When dangerously inclement weather is forecast for the entire class, we visit indoor spaces like the library or Industry City.

No classes on school holidays.

Tuition and fees include:

4 hours of outdoor, student-led nature exploration and deep play, guided by playworkers and nature educators
