Adventure Field Trips, 9 am to 3 pm (drop off 8:45 - 9 am)

Our nature and adventure field trips take us from the hills of Bush Terminal Park to the secret spaces of Prospect Park, from the shores of Coney Island to the open fields of Governor's Island, deep into the parks near Sunset and into the hidden wilds throughout the city. When choosing destinations, we consider the size of the group, the children's interests, and the weather. Because of this, we announce our destinations about a week before each trip.
For all holiday classes, morning drop off is at the porch of the Community Board 7 building on 43rd Street and 4th Avenue in Sunset Park. Afternoon pick-up is somewhere within walking distance of Sunset Park (the park), depending on where we've traveled. All entrance and transportation fees are included.
Adventure Play Afternoons, 3 pm to 5:30 pm
$45
Adventure Play extends the day through exploration of parks and playgrounds in the neighborhood of Sunset Park. Adventure Play is open to children in our holiday classes as an add-on. Parent pick up is at 5:30 pm.
Facilitated by playworkers with an environmental education lens, our adventure field trips are held outdoors rain or shine, following our inclement weather guide.
