Adventure Field Trips, 9 am to 3 pm (drop off 8:45 - 9 am)

Our nature and adventure field trips take us from the hills of Bush Terminal Park to the secret spaces of Prospect Park, from the shores of Brighton Beach to the open fields of Governor's Island--and deep into the parks near Sunset. (Final locations are announced the week before our trip, based on current weather conditions.)

For all holiday classes, morning drop off will be at the porch of the Sunset Park Library on 43rd Street

and afternoon pick-up will be at the 44th Street and 7th Avenue corner of Sunset Park near the Rec Center. All entrance fees and transportation fees are included.

Adventure Play Afternoons, 3 pm to 5:30 pm

Adventure Play extends the day through exploration of the trees, wood chips and loose parts of our outdoor classroom in Sunset Park. Adventure Play is open to children in our holiday classes and as a separate, afternoon-only drop-in class for ages 3 to 10. Parent pick up is at 6 pm at the 7th Avenue and 44th Street corner of the park.

Facilitated by playworkers with an environmental education lens, our adventure field trips are held outdoors rain or shine, following our inclement weather guide.
