Join Brooklyn Wild for mini-camp field trips on June 4th and June 11th!

We'll be taking exploration, friend-making and child-led play to Governor's Island and The Rockaways. Using the model of forest schools, our adventure field trips are held outdoors rain or shine.
June 4th, 2019
Governor's Island Adventure, 8 am to 3 pm, $110
Drop off at the Sunset Park Library
By train, ferry and foot, we'll explore one of the city's most beautiful green spaces! Led by the inquiries of our students, we'll cavort, climb and slide over the landscapes of Governor's Island. All transportation and entrance fees are included. Students must bring their own picnic lunch and a snack. Open to children in pre-K through 5th grade. Pick up is at 3 pm at the Sunset Park Library, or extend the day by adding adventure play from 3 to 5:30 pm!
June 4th Adventure Play, 3 to 5:30 pm, $38
Adventure Play extends the day through exploration of the trees, wood chips and loose parts of our outdoor classroom in Sunset Park. Drop-off Adventure Play is open to children ages 3 to 12, and parent pick up is at 5:30 pm at the 7th Avenue and 44th Street corner of the park.
June 11th
Getaway to The Rockaways, 8 am to 3 pm, $110
Drop off at the Brooklyn Army Terminal NYC Ferry Pier

We'll leave on the 8:30 am ferry and spend the day in the sand and waves. Though getting sandy and wet are highly encouraged, we won't be swimming as a class. Instead we'll have nets for catching sea creatures, tools for building castles, and friends to share them with. All transportation and entrance fees are included. Students must bring their own picnic lunch and a snack. Open to children in pre-K through 5th grade. Pick up is at 3 pm at the NYC Ferry Terminal at Brooklyn Army Terminal, or extend the day by adding water play at Owl's Head Park from 3 to 5:30 pm!
Water Play at Owl's Head Park, 3 to 5:30 pm, $38
Water Play extends the day at Owl's Head Park! We'll relax in the shade of trees, throw buckets of water at each other to get the sand off and see what happens when we bring our sea finds to a human-made stream. Drop-off water play is open to children ages 3 to 12. Parent pick up is at 5:30 pm at the water feature area of the Owl's Head Playground, near 67th Street and Colonial Road.
All siblings who register at the same time receive a 5% discount.
