SCHOOL DAY CLASSES
SPRING 2021
APRIL 5TH - JUNE 25TH
Our school day classes are designed to support public school families during this unprecedented school year, and provide the kind of hands-on, in-person learning unavailable through a computer screen. Perfect for families choosing blended learning, remote-only or homeschooling. These school day classes are possible due to donated time and are available at cost, to offer in-person, outdoor play and environmental, child-led education to as many children as possible.

How it works
Each class is limited to six students in pre-K - 1st grade and takes place all outdoors in Sunset Park, under the facilitation of a trained playworker. Our school day classes follow children's interests in a forest school format, with an emphasis on learning through play.

Even if the DOE moves to an all-remote schedule, our classes will remain open as long as businesses are open. If we must close temporarily due to staff or a student contracting COVID, or for severely inclement weather, make-up classes will be offered at a date and time selected by Brooklyn Wild. Please read our full COVID safety policy.
